This is so beautiful Allegra, I can relate to so much and your words spoke directly to my inner teenager who was yearning to belong and when I didn’t feel that with other women I tried to find it with men instead by hiding parts of myself. It’s so complex and I also feel so strongly that women’s circles can be a huge part of the healing for so many reasons.
I feel rage and sadness at the engrained beliefs about separation and how we need to mistrust other women. And I also feel it still deeply as a fear… there is much work to be done but we are doing it and I’m celebrating you for all you are sharing here and for creating this beautiful space to gather! Congratulations on your publication rebirth, I’m excited to see how it evolves. Xxx
